Dona Ramsey Kendrick has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the private and public elementary school sector teaching elementary music to children and staff development to teachers nationally. Dona traveled for eight years throughout America representing the Bureau of Education and Research (BER) based in Bellevue, Washington, as an Independent Consultant teaching colleagues the student benefits of blending literacy and music education and the benefits of technology for children at the elementary music level.
Dona has served as past state CMEA (Colorado Music Educator Association) General Music Chair and Rocky Mountain West American Orff Schulwerk Association Present. She also taught General Music at Appleton Elementary for 17 years and was the founder and director of the Appleton Acoustical Angel Choir, an all-volunteer elementary school choir at Appleton Elementary averaging 60-90 students frequently performing throughout the community. Dona currently teaches popular elementary music classes for students ages 2-14 for a local homeschool co-op. She also maintains a private piano and vocal studio in Grand Junction. Dona currently serves as President of the Grand Junction Music Teachers Association. She is the Pianist and Worship Song Leader for Grand Junction First Baptist Church and is a member of the FBC Carillon Hand Bell Choir. She currently works at:
